Kentucky Derby Train – May 4th
Join us May 4th, as we celebrate the Kentucky Derby, the South’s oldest sporting event, with the Kentucky Derby Train. All kids 8 and under are invited to compete in stick horse races. Winners of each race will receive a certificate and a rose. There will be a hat contest for ladies. Winner will get roses. Trains will depart with a live performance of Stephen Foster’s state song, ‘My Old Kentucky Home, Goodnight,’ and a live musician’s call to post.
Whistle Stop, located inside the historic depot, will serve traditional Derby Day food in the restaurant.
The trip will last approximately 1 hour to 1.5 hour, in an 8 mile round trip journey into Kentucky’s coal country.
Mother’s Day Train – May 10th, 11th, and 12th
The Mother’s Day Train will run May 10th, 11th, and 12th! Mother’s with children riding will receive 25% OFF! On May 12th the first 25 mothers will receive a carnation. Whistle Stop will also feature a special menu.
Moonshine Limited Train – May 18th
The Moonshine Limited Train will be May 18th, 2019! Train times will be 11:00 AM and 2:30 PM. We will have a live storyteller inside the depot and a live narrator will be on the train. We will also have a MOONSHINE STILL inside the Depot. Whistle Stop will feature a special menu.

Memorial Day Train – May 27th
Remember Those Who Served. All Gave Some, Some Gave All. The Memorial Day Train will be May 27th, 2019 at 11:00 AM! At 10:30 AM a memorial ceremony will be held in cooperation with the VFW.
